Insensitive to the temperature, colour and surface of the moving product; precise and repeatable; it is not subject to the typical defects of the traditional measurement systems with Encoder and with contact: scratches or damages to the product surface, errors or uncertainty of speed and length measurements due to slipping, wear of the friction element of the contact surface, rejects or wastes of product, need for calibrations and related maintenance costs.

Thanks to the projection of a ray in the visible field it is possible to correctly position Velomex with proper incidence and planarity with reference to the surface of the product, while the position of the velocimeter is absolutely free both on the orthogonal plane with respect to the progress of the line, and along the line.
